Easy Cultural Access

Bennington Museum welcomes all visitors and affirms its commitment to making the collections and programs accessible to everyone. The museum is wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair is available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis at the Visitors’ Services Desk. Service animals are welcome. All restrooms have accessible stalls and an elevator provides access to the second floor galleries. Reserved wheelchair accessible parking is designated closest to the entrance.

American Sign Language interpretation for public programs is available by request, free of charge with admission to the program. Advance notice is required and requests should be made at least one month in advance of your visit. Call 802-447-1571. For relay call 711. Or email [email protected].

Verbal description tours are available at no additional cost for visitors who are blind or have low vision. These tours provide an opportunity to experience the richness and diversity of the exhibitions through vivid description. Please call 802-447-1571 or write [email protected] at least one month in advance of your visit to request this tour.

The museum is fully accessible. A wheelchair is available to use within the museum free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis. Please inquire at the Visitors’ Services Desk.

Parking

  • Parking is available for free in our on-site parking lot. In inclement weather, passengers may be discharged at the door. Reserved wheelchair accessible parking is designated closest to the entrance. Parking for motorhomes and other oversized vehicles, including buses, is located along the wood line toward the rear of the lot.
