Easy Cultural Access
Bennington Museum welcomes all visitors and affirms its commitment to making the collections and programs accessible to everyone. The museum is wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair is available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis at the Visitors’ Services Desk. Service animals are welcome. All restrooms have accessible stalls and an elevator provides access to the second floor galleries. Reserved wheelchair accessible parking is designated closest to the entrance.
For Visitors Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
American Sign Language interpretation for public programs is available by request, free of charge with admission to the program. For Visitors Who are Blind or Have Low Vision
Verbal description tours are available at no additional cost for visitors who are blind or have low vision. These tours provide an opportunity to experience the richness and diversity of the exhibitions through vivid description. Please call 802-447-1571 or write education@benningtonmuseum.org at least one month in advance of your visit to request this tour.
For Visitors Who Use Mobility Aids
The museum is fully accessible. A wheelchair is available to use within the museum free of charge, on a first-come, first-served basis. Please inquire at the Visitors’ Services Desk.
