NBOSS at the Museum
July – November 2024
The organizers of the North Bennington Outdoor Sculpture Show (NBOSS) are delighted to extend an invitation to artists for the 27th annual exhibit. The Artist Application period is now officially open, running from January 1st to March 31st, 2024. We are excited to announce that Joe Chirchirillo will be curating this year’s show for the 12th consecutive year, and Jamie Franklin, Bennington Museum curator, will be organizing NBOSS at the Museum for the 5th year of this partnership.
To apply, artists are encouraged to visit the NBOSS website and complete the online form available on the Artist Application page: nbossvt.com/artists. It is important to note that applications will only be accepted through this online form, and submissions via email will not be considered for participation. This application includes all sites, such as North Bennington and Bennington Museum. Sites are subject to change and can be found at nbossvt.com/landscape.
Artists are welcome to submit multiple sculptures, with each sculpture requiring a separate application for consideration.
Save the date for the much-anticipated NBOSS 2024 opening reception and party scheduled for Saturday, June 29th, 2024, at the Vermont Arts Exchange Campus, 48 Main St, North Bennington, VT, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This free and public event provides a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in live music, connect with talented artists, explore captivating sculptures, and engage with the vibrant community.
NBOSS is in partnership with the Vermont Arts Exchange and Bennington Museum. NBOSS 2024 is actively seeking sponsors, and interested partners are invited to get in touch via the organization’s website.
