The Dollar Sip: A Courtyard + Cork Event

Join us for the final Courtyard + Cork event of 2020 featuring red wines. For this tasting we’re putting a spin on things. Over three small courses you’ll try six wines, in pairs. Each pair will be the same varietal or blend from the same vintage and region but one will be a budget-friendly wine and the other a bit pricier. You’ll BLIND taste these against each other to see which you prefer and if there is any inherent difference between lower-priced and higher-priced wines.

September 19 from 6pm to 7:30pm (rain date September 20) 

Limit to 12 people (8 minimum with reservations made 1 week in advance)

Price: $60/$50 per person/member

The member discount will apply to the entire party if a Museum member makes the reservation.

Food provided by Allegro Ristorante

Pinot Noir: Pappardelle and wild mushroom cream sauce

Cabernet Franc: Allegro Salad (Mixed greens, grilled chicken breast, tomatoes, onions, Maplebrook mozzarella, basil tossed with roasted garlic balsamic vinaigrette)

Sangiovese: Vegetarian eggplant meatballs

Dessert Wine: Chocolate truffles

COVID Policies:

When touring the Museum you must wear a mask and maintain proper distancing.

Temperature will be checked before entering the Museum, and anyone with a temperature of over 100 degrees will be asked to remain outside the Museum gates.  No refunds will be issued.

When possible, the presenter and guests will don face coverings even when out of doors.

Hand sanitizer will be available.
