Museum ABCs is back for another year of fun! Children ages 3 to 5 and their adult caregivers are invited to join us for an hour of exploration, stories, and art. This month we will enjoy another walk on the George Aiken Wildflower Trail in the Bennington Museum's Hadwen Woods. Enjoy the falling leaves and read along with us as we share the story Possum's Harvest Moon by local author/illustrator, Anne Hunter.

Community Day, Celebrating Art and History
Community Day, Celebrating Art and History - The Bennington Museum invites everyone to celebrate Community Day on February 4 to explore the permanent, as well as the changing exhibitions. Admission is FREE for everyone and the opening exhibits range from photographs from the late 1800s to the mid-1900s to wonderful ceramic sculpture created over the last 60 years by Stanley Rosen, one of the leading lights of American ceramic art during the last six decades. And of course the wonderful work created by students in the region.

From Beethoven to Bennington (and back again!)
Music is alive and well at Bennington Museum. We are pleased to begin the 2017 Music at the Museum concert series with the brilliant work of Beethoven, Allen Shawn, Lionel Nowak, and coming full circle, back again, wrapping the concert up with Ludwig van Beethoven’s Sonata in C Major, Op. 102, No. 1. Sponsored by Alison Nowak and Robert Cane, all concerts are free. The first concert is on Sunday, February 26 at 2:00 pm in the Ada Paresky Education Center and Paul Paresky Court of the Bennington Museum. Admission to the galleries is not included.

Songs of Peace
Music at the Museum presents this wonderful concert performed by the Counterpoint vocal Ensemble. Directed by Nathaniel G. Lew. Included in their performance will be Last Night I Had the Strangest Dream, Hold On, Our Wish This Year is Peace, Ring Like a Bell, Down by the Riverside, and many more. Sponsored by Alison Nowak and Robert Cane, all concerts are free. This concert is on Saturday, May 13 at 2:00 pm in the Ada Paresky Education Center and Paul Paresky Court of the Bennington Museum. Admission to the galleries is not included.
