Museum ABCs – For the Birds
December’s Museum ABCs is going virtual!
In the winter, it is harder for birds to find the foods they need. We can help our feathered friends by making bird feeders! In this month’s Museum ABCs activity bag, you will find a wooden birdfeeder to decorate, plus instructions and materials to make another fun feeder you can hang from a tree.
Join Linda and Deana right here on Facebook for a story about birds and some information about how birds survive in the wintertime. Then stop by the Library or the Museum to pick up an activity bag.
The Museum ABCs program is a collaboration between Bennington Museum and the Bennington Free Library. The program is intended for children ages 3 to 5 and their adult companions and supports early literacy and a lifelong love of museums and learning. Museum ABCs is offered at no charge to participants, thanks to generous support from The Bank of Bennington.
