Museum ABCs: Clay Play

Before Tupperware and Mason Jars, people used pottery made from clay to store foods and to make all sorts of other things. Explore the Bennington Pottery Gallery with us to discover the many things made with clay. Plan to get your hands dirty as we use stoneware clay to make simple pots to bring home.

Museum ABCs is a collaboration of Bennington Museum and the Bennington Free Library designed for children ages 3 to 5 and their adult companions.
