En Plein Air Watercolor Painting Workshop

Saturday July 25, 2020
3:00 – 6:00 pm
(Rain Date: Saturday August 1)

Spend a summer afternoon sketching and exploring light on the landscape and townscape in and around Bennington.  In this ‘en plein air’ painting class we’ll spend a few hours using simple techniques and painting concepts to create lovely expressions of a summer afternoon.

We’ll make en plein air painting easier than it seems, by applying some important painting concepts and simplifying our subjects. We’ll also work on expression and using color creatively in our work.

A list of recommended supplies and materials will be sent to all participants upon registration. Supplies and materials are not included in the registration fee.

This class is for intermediate painters with some experience working with watercolors.

Minimum class size: 6 students. Maximum class size: 12 students.
