BENNINGTON — The Bennington Museum has announce the summer 2025 Concerts in the Courtyard line-up with styles ranging from jazz to folk to bluegrass to rock.

With support from an anonymous grant, thirteen regional performing groups have been selected from over a record-breaking 100 applicants to play the popular outdoor summer music series at Bennington Museum.

“We try to hire at least 60% new performers each year,” says Director of Advancement, Alexina Jones. “It is always such a pleasure to listen through the applications and fit the scheduling pieces together- the hard part is deciding! We provide feedback to the groups who weren’t selected and hope that they will apply again the following year.” She continues, “We wouldn’t be able to bring these great events to the community without our foundational underwriters who are supporting this series for the 4th year in a row. Because of them, thousands of people from our Bennington community and beyond have come together to enjoy music which provides a common ground and an escape from all of the political turmoil around us. And, because of this grant, the musicians are paid for their time, which allows us to offer these events free of charge.”

Performances will begin Friday, June 6th and run through Sept. 5. The Museum will also provide free children’s activities, will have beverages available for purchase, and delicious savory personal-sized pies will be for sale by the Sage Pizza Co. Bring your own chair!

All events take place from 5 to 7pm and the Museum will remain open during these hours (regular admission applies).

Check out the event page at benningtonmuseum.org for more information on the performers and mark your calendars now!

Concerts will be cancelled in the event of rain by 2pm on Fridays. Check the Museum Facebook page for updates.
