Bennington Museum To Open Its Doors
Starting on July 3, the new hours for the galleries and the Museum Store at Bennington Museum are Saturday through Monday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Friday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. “With people beginning to return to work and stay-at-home orders being somewhat relaxed, the Museum is happy to present the opportunity for all people to visit. When I began my tenure as executive director here at Bennington Museum just a few months ago, I could not have fathomed the unexpected tumultuous times ahead. But perhaps because of this, I have had the opportunity to witness the unshakable strength, good humor, and generosity of the people in this community. It is an honor to call Bennington, and Southwest Vermont, my home as we work to get through this crisis together.
Bennington Museum Announces Temporary Closure
Bennington Museum announced today that it is closing its galleries and exhibitions effective March 17 through April 6, 2020 in support of ongoing efforts to flatten the curve of the coronavirus (COVID-19). The Museum’s Executive Director Joshua Campbell Torrance and Board of Trustees will continue to monitor the developments of this serious health crisis and the steps recommended by the state of Vermont and the CDC.
