Discovering and sharing the Western Abenaki place names for state parks near you is a process started by legislation and continued with the help of partnerships and experts in the Indigenous languages. Join Rebecca Roy, Interpretive Program Manager with Vermont State Parks, in exploring the process of uncovering some of the place names and the stories that are emerging on the way. Learn some new things about your favorite places and the richness of our natural and cultural heritage across Vermont.
