Bennington Museum continues the celebration of Milton Avery’s Vermont )on view through November 6) with a wonderful concert featuring popular jazz favorites from the mid-1930s to the mid-1940s.  Moonlight in Vermont – Jazz Songs from Milton Avery’s Radio, 1935-1943 are songs sung by Kerry Ryer-Parke.  She is joined by Mowgli Gianniti on bass, Peter King on guitar, and Bruce Williamson on piano and saxophone.  Sit back and let nostalgia set in as they present such favorites as Moonlight in Vermont, Autumn Leaves, Cheek to Cheek, Undecided, Just One of Those Things, and Over the Rainbow.  This concert is part of the very popular “Music at the Museum” series sponsored by Alison Nowak and Robert Cane.  All concerts are free.   Join us in the Paresky Wing of the Bennington Museum on Sunday, October 2 at 2:00 p.m. for an afternoon of delightful music.
