The Festival: Reimagining Grandma Moses

November 25 through December 30

As we gear up for the summer 2017 exhibition Grandma Moses: American Modern, we celebrate the work of this iconic folk artist and present The Festival Reimagining Grandma Moses. A major part of this year’s seasonal celebration is the presentation of works by twenty-seven contemporary artists who have reimagined, reinterpreted, or responded to the work of Anna Mary Robertson “Grandma” Moses. Each piece on display in the changing galleries will be for sale by closed-bid auction through December 29.

Below are the works available in the Closed-Bid Auction.  Take a look and then stop in the museum to place your bid or write [email protected].  You can also fax your bid to 802-442-8305.  These will be considered legal and binding bids.  Bids by phone are not allowed.  All bids will be opened by two people and date stamped.  The person with the highest will be declared the winner and be contacted by January 4, 2017 for payment and to arrange a pick-up time.  In the event of a tie, the bid placed first will be the winner.  To avoid a tie, we urge you to bid an odd amount such as $586.54 rather than $500.
