DESCRIPTION:Thank you for becoming a Museum member this year. We are so grateful to have your support! We want to get to know you better and also to help you get to know the Museum. \nPlease join us for this hour-long new members’ tour\, led by our Curator\, Jamie Franklin\, on May 1st at 3pm\, right before the annual members’ meeting.  If you attend this tour\, you don’t need to RSVP to the meeting- we will have already counted you! \nWe will explore some of our permanent collections\, take a peek behind the scenes\, and take queues from you as to what you are most curious about. \nWe hope you can join us. \nCOVID Policies:  Guests must wear masks. Temperatures will be taken when entering the building and guests must fill out a contact reporting sheet. \nPlease note\, that while the Annual Members’ Meeting may change to remote pending State of Vermont COVID guidelines\, this New Members’ Tour will take place as planned. \nBECOME A MEMBER TODAY! \n_________________________________________ \nYour advance reservation is kindly requested. DESCRIPTION:Join the Bennington Museum board of trustees for the annual members’ meeting and review of the 2019-2020 annual report from 4pm to 5:30pm on Saturday\, May 1st. \nCocktails will be provided at no charge to our guests. The Museum will remain open to members only during this event and all are encouraged to view the new exhibits on display. \nRobert Frost\, “At Present in Vermont”\nLove\, Marriage\, & Divorce\nNEVERUSES: BEYONDER by J Stoner Blackwell\nPerformative Acts: Dona Ann McAdams\nThe annual report will be available at this meeting\, and is also be available for download and viewing HERE. \nCOVID Policies:  Guests must wear masks indoors and outdoors when not drinking.  Food and drinks will not be allowed in the building. DESCRIPTION:Museum ABCs: Rocks Rock!\nOur special guest\, Robert (Roc) Kauffman\, and discover the art of stone balancing. How many can you stack? We will make some rockin’ art\, too! This program will take place in person\, outdoors. Masks required for anyone over 2 years of age. Wear sneakers or sturdy shoes to go rock hunting. \n\nThe Museum ABCs program is a collaboration between Bennington Museum and the Bennington Free Library. The program is intended for children ages 3 to 5 and their adult companions and supports early literacy and a lifelong love of museums and learning. Museum ABCs is offered at no charge to participants\, thanks to generous support from The Bank of Bennington.
