Children’s Shopping Boutique
Kids ages 5 to 12 are invited to explore the Children’s Shopping Boutique to find the perfect gifts for family and friends. Our Shopper’s Helpers will assist, so parents can enjoy a break at our bake sale – and be surprised at gift-opening time. Reservations are required. Reserve a time for each shopper you will be bringing. For example, if you have two children who would like to shop at 1:30, add two 1:30 slots to your cart.
The following time slots are available. More may be added, as volunteer staffing allows. Click on your desired time to reserve it.

Want to help?
The Children’s Shopping Boutique runs on volunteer power! Here are some ways you can participate:
- Donate! We need new and gently used gift items to stock the boutique. Gifts for men are especially needed. Please, no clothing or books. We also need gift bags of all sizes, ribbon, and tissue paper. Cash donations will be used to purchase gift packaging and gift items. You can bring donations to the Museum any time we are open.
- Volunteer! More than 50 volunteers make Family Day fun for everyone. We will need Shoppers’ Helpers, Gift Packagers, Craft Assistants, Ticket Sellers, Bake Sale Monitors and more. Got middle or high schoolers? They may be too old to shop, but they make great Shoppers’ Helpers!
Craft Activities
This year’s theme is “In the Shadow of the Hills.” What shadowy crafts will we come up with?
Visit with Santa
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be in the Grandma Moses Schoolhouse from 1:00 – 3:00 PM. Bring your camera and capture the moment while the kids share their holiday wishes.
Family Day is a great way to celebrate the season together, so save the date and check back for more details!
